In this edition of wasteful government spending we go straight to the IRS. Yes that’s right, the department responsible for making sure people pay their taxes on time and in the correct amount.
Sadly, you can’t make this shit up. This Star Trek parody was filmed in the IRS’ own studio! The fact that the IRS has its own studio is shocking. Judging by the pathetic acting job, I’d assume they used their own tax collectors for this film (maybe they did that to try and save some money :). This video was rumored to cost upwards of 50K to produce and best of all, it was shown at the training and leadership conference for the bureaucrats.
I wonder what kind of ROI the IRS got for its 50k spent on this video? Oh that’s right, it doesn’t matter because it isn’t their money anyway. What do they care? Zero accountability.
