The hypocrisy of politicians never ceases to amaze me… they’re as fickle as my second grade crush who would waver between me and another boy depending on the direction of the wind that day.
Politicians shift their stance and values based on what favors them today. It’s nauseating. And the latest political sellout is the commie Bernie Sanders. This is a man who ran a campaign based on his words that “we must stand up to the corrupt system…”
Before going any further, I want to restate that this was the weakest Democrat field of Presidential candidates in my lifetime, perhaps ever. And I believe that was by design of the DNC. The weak field was meant to provide Hillary Clinton a quick and painless path to the nomination. Just look at the lack of depth in the field of candidates… Jim Webb, Martin O’Malley, Lincoln Chafee, Bernie and Hillary. Not one of the men were meant to seriously challenge Clinton. It was supposed to be a shellacking. But despite refusing to take the gloves off with Clinton and challenge her directly on corruption allegations, Bernie almost accidentally won the nomination. A senior citizen, 30+ year career politician, who claimed to be running on new ideas of socialism, nearly beat Hillary. That’s how weak of a candidate she is.
Nevertheless, as planned Hillary ended up the triumphant victor. And Bernie, who persuaded young, impressionable Millennials to vote for his socialist and delusional ideas, has now fully endorsed Hillary Clinton. This thing is all too scripted… Bernie Sanders is a stooge.
After campaigning against the elitist, Wall Street-schmoozing, corrupt politician he only hinted Hillary was, today Bernie went on the record endorsing the flawed candidate by stating, “there is no doubt in my mind that as we head into November, Hillary Clinton is far and away the best candidate to do that [lead America].” Well that’s cute. For nearly a year Sanders said the opposite. In fact, the only reason the career politician built a campaign supported by hippie Millennials was because he provided a Democratic alternative to the Clinton machine. Furthermore, nearly half of Bernie’s supporters say they won’t support Hillary…
Hell, at one point Bernie even went so far as to say Hillary Clinton isn’t qualified to be President.
Bernie Sanders, whose religion may be Progressivism, said this about Clinton during the fake Democrat nominee campaign, “I do not know any progressive who has a Super PAC and takes $15 million from Wall Street. That’s just not progressive.” So with his endorsement of Hillary, does that mean Sanders isn’t really progressive?
For all you first-time Millennial voters who supported Sanders so loyally, and claim to be progressives, I hope this is a wake up call to never take a politician’s words at face value. Maybe you will scrutinize, at least a little bit, the next candidate you choose to so blindly support.
Welcome to politics, young Millennials. With Bernie Sanders’ endorsement of Hillary Clinton, a Presidential candidate who is supported by many institutions you vehemently oppose, I hope next time you’ll do a little more homework before going to the polls.
