Our friends on the left, including the President of the US, continue to preach about the wonders of socialism, and its ability to elevate those at the bottom of the economic spectrum without hurting those at the top. However, anyone with a sense of real world logic can identify these idealists for the spin doctors that they are.
The far lefties, who are currently running the executive branch of America, preach about a utopian society, likely filled with windmills and spotted owls. But, as any hard working citizen knows, few things in life are free.
Cynics and Laziness
Socialism creates a nation of cynics and laziness. The majority of socialist nations in the world discredit the importance of competition, and the emotional reward from working hard. Socialism is only of benefit, over the long-term, for elitist leaders in government who believe they know what’s best for you and I.
Plainly put, socialists, by their very beliefs, are exceptionally egotistical, condescending, and power hungry. Imagine me writing about what’s best for you and your family, without ever meeting you. Ludicrous right?
Socialist leaders currently running the executive branch in America believe that, thanks to their wonderful Ivy league education, they can build a system which takes care of everyone through higher taxation and regulation. Obama and his cronies believe that they know what is best for you, your family, and your neighbors’ families. Whether you want to admit it or not, the Affordable Care Act is a tax, and it further entrenches socialism in America. Inevitably, it will be one of the key drivers behind the insolvency of the country.
I Believe in the Concept
Before going any further here, I want it to be known that I believe, in principal, healthcare for everyone is a great concept. However, leaving its implementation and execution to government creates an inefficient and corrupt system. History has proven this to be the case. Furthermore, now that Obamacare is the law of the land in America, do you genuinely believe it will be the last new socialised program to be introduced by the Left? Doubtful. Give the socialists an inch, and they’ll eventually take a foot.
I would not be surprised to see the US government step into other sectors of insurance, such as car or home insurance. I can envision a socialist America where the government controls its citizens’ pensions. Think I’m crazy? It already stepped in, and failed, in the home mortgage insurance business - another policy brought in by the most prolific American socialist of all-time, FDR.
Reagan Enlightens Obama (funny)
The Marxist in the White House could learn a lesson, or two, from the greatest President in the last 50 years, Ronald Reagan. Indeed, had the two been able to sit down and have a conversation about Obama’s plans to date, and future agenda for America, it may have gone something like this…
Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.”
- Winston Churchill
Stay hungry,
Aaron
